Available in the Amazon.sg app, Amazon Lens lets you search for products by taking a photo, uploading an image from your phone, or scanning a barcode. The feature uses AI technology to identify products or find visually similar items available on Amazon.sg, which you can then filter by price, customer ratings, and delivery options.
How it works
To use Amazon Lens, simply tap the camera icon in the search bar of the Amazon.sg app. From there, you can:
- Take a photo using your phone's camera to find matching or similar products
- Upload an image from your photo library, including screenshots from social media or messaging apps
- Scan a barcode to quickly pull up product listings, compare prices, or reorder items you've purchased before
When you upload an image with multiple items, like a photo of your living room, you can use the "circle to search" feature to draw around the specific item you want to find, whether it's a lamp, cushion, or side table.
